Schedule delays can often be attributed to building materials which do not arrive on the jobsite when needed. This is usually due to poor procurement and logistics practices. Some of the materials will be long lead items, which must be ordered months ahead of time and be scheduled to arrive on the jobsite on a specific schedule. This is part of the procurement and logistics process.
Nationwide Consulting LLC anticipates the long lead items and oversees the procurement and logistics process, to mitigate any schedule delays related to materials. This process is an integral part of our scheduling program, and must be implemented in conjunction with the master schedule.
